Regimental Remembrance Day - Sunday 21st May 2017
As you will be aware, this year's Regimental Remembrance Day will take place on Sunday 21st May, at Wellington Barracks.
Some brief points are:
> Parking for VIPs, Blue Badge disabled card holders (who must be in possession of their Blue Badge to gain entry) and the Household Division Corps of Drums will be made available in Wellington Barracks from 1230hrs. Requests for parking at this location are to be forwarded to LSgt Haughton the Regimental Affairs NCO at Regimental Headquarters (Civ: 0207 414 3284 Mil: 94631 3284) or at email@example.com. No other vehicles will be given authority to park in barracks.
> Coaches and other vehicles will be able to park on Mall North Horse Ride, the Mall, under the control of marshals from 1230hrs. The Mall is closed on Sundays to vehicles. Exit is to be made from the southern end crossing the Mall into Horse Guards Road. North Horse Ride must be clear of vehicles by 1800hrs. The Royal Parks Police have directed that any vehicle left in this area after that time will be locked in overnight. On arrival in London coaches may drop off on the barrack square (entry and exit via the West Picquet Gate) and can be called forward to pick up from the square at Wellington Barracks once the Parade has been dismissed. All coaches must leave Wellington Barracks by 1900hrs.
> All vehicles whether they are parking in Wellington Barracks or at Mall North Horse Ride need to be registered by Make and VRN with LSgt Haughton by Friday 12th May 2017. Car passes will not be issued in advance.
> As with previous years, all those attending the Service of Remembrance are to be seated in the Guards Chapel by 1445hrs.
