I was married to Mark for 33 years loved him to absolute bits and we had a wonderful life together and I will miss him so so much. He always talked about his life in the Grenadier Guards with passion and his life, I am absolutely honoured to go to Trooping the colour twice what a privilege and Mark always explained the whole procedure, made me proud to be British.

Mark was my Step dad for 34 years and loved hearing his stories of his grenadier guards years. He was so proud of his army years. He’s taught me a lot. Rest in peace Mark. I love you. Once a grenadier always a grenadier job done

Mark (my grandad) was very proud of being a grenadier guard, it was a huge part of him and his life before my family. He joined from the age of 16 and stayed for 18 years, he has so many memories and experiences he was able to have from this job. He will be very much missed by all who knew him as he was such a special person!
