Pete Maslen as far as I know never had a bad word to say about anyone. He was my second Master Tailor, being appointed to the position after John Wilkinson stepped off. Pete decided to leave the regiment early, and we lost a fine tailor. I never got the chance to say goodbye to him, as I was serving at The Depot. I never wanted to go on a Cpl's Course, he pushed me, I never wanted to leave my friends and get posted to The Depot, he pushed me. All I can say is 'Peter, Thank You for all you did for me, I would not have got to the very top of our profession without the push you gave me.  I have never forgotten your help.
