Born in Newark.married to Judy for 54 years.Sons Stephen, Michael, daughters Susan and Jill. Worked at rhp, British Rail, British Gypsum, Dalloons. Liked wildlife. Was a very keen gardener. Dad's main trade.very keen historian,keen metal detectorist,had two finds declared treasure trove. Very very knowledgeable man. a peoples person and well liked by all. Was very proud of the fact that he was part of the pageantry on the Queen's Coronation. I am trying to get a medal for my father ,for his service in the second battalion. He leaves behind countless memories.  Dad you were the best both as a husband and a father. It was a pleasure to call you my dad and we all feel the same about you.THE BEST I hope you are at peace at last with Michael. Come back and let us know .LOVE YOU LOT'S, MISS YOU ALL FROM THE FAMILY AND ALL YOUR FRIENDS.XXX
