Harold (Harry) GR Pain was born on the 24th of May 1936.

He was a proud Grenadier and a member of the East Kent Branch for many years.

Harry Pain died on the 29th of April 2014 in Laureston House, Residential Home in Dover.

For many years he was a reader, and server, at St Mary in Castro (St Mary in the Castle), Dover Castle, Dover, Kent, CT16 1HU and it was only fitting that that his funeral service was held there.

He is survived by his wife (Muriel).
