Guardsman Mark 'Buddah' Goodwin was born on the 12th August 1961, a Grenadier to the heart. He may have left the Regiment, but he never lost the values of a Grenadier. On leaving Mark joined Transport for London, initially as a bus driver, working his way to Station Controller, before returning to Mansfield in 1997. Mark studied computer technology and was the person to go to for any IT issues. Mark died on the 27th March 2014 unexpectedly from cancer. He is survived by his Wife Trudi, son Mark and daughter Claire. He is much loved, and will be always missed by those lucky enough to have known him.
