24141563 Mr B Lawson 1st and 2nd Battalion Battalion, Guards Para and London Branch

It is with great sadness we report the death of a friend to many Mr Barry Lawson who served with great distinction in the 1st and 2nd Battalions and with the 1st Guards Independent Parachute Company, he served in Number Three Company as a role model to many of us, The Close Observation Platoon South Armagh, The Recce Platoon Mech in Munster, Company Sergeant Major Support Company 2nd Battalion amongst many other achievements in his career, our thoughts are with his family and many friends at this very sad time.

We thank him for his service in our great Regiment and may he rest in peace.
