Steady, loyal, professional, grafter and above all a good mate. These are just a few words to describe Barry Lawson,who tragically passed away on the 14th July 2026.A former warrant officer who served in both Battalions and the Guards Independent Parachute Company. Barry was highly respected by all that served with him. A hard working, fit soldier, who could turn his hand to any task given him. He possessed that quiet,unassuming, but professional soldiers judgement and a devilish sense of humour. He will be sadly missed by his family and all that new him. RIP Mate.
