2627793 Mr Derrick Holmes

It is with great sadness we report the death of 2627793 Mr Derrick Holmes aged 96, Derrick enlisted in early 1945 prior to the end of the Second World War and was a veteran of Palestine and served as a Sergeant in both the 1st and 2nd Battalions of the Regiment, he had lived in Folkestone, Kent until moving to Cambridgeshire some 15 years ago, he was married to Lorna and our thoughts are with Lorna, his family and all friends at this very sad time.

We thank him for his service in our great Regiment and may he rest in peace.

Funeral Details:

A funeral service and cremation will take place at 1300 on Thursday 15th February 2024 at Cambridge City Crematorium for those that would like to attend.
