Death of 2625916 John R Spackman

Grenadiers,

I regret to inform you of the death of 2625916 John R Spackman, who passed away on 12th May 2019.

John had been a loyal member and supporter of the East Kent Branch for as long as can be remembered. He was the sole long time carer to his wife (Josephine) until her own death in late February 2019. Consequently, for several years he was not able to attend Branch meetings or events, but was always keen to hear how the Branch was doing and what it was organising.

He was 93 years of age upon death, and will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to have known him or spent time in his company.
