Funeral of 22955818 Arthur Close

It is my sad duty to inform you that 22955818 Arthur Close died on the 10th September 2019 from a brain Haemorrhage following a long illness.

His funeral will be at Agecroft Cemetery & Crematorium, Langley Road, Manchester M27 8SS on 24th September 2019 followed by a wake at Swinton Golf Club, East Lancashire Road, Swinton, Manchester M27 5LX.

Arthur was a long standing member of the Manchester Branch, he was on parade with the Association when the Regiment were granted the Freedom of the City in 1964.
