LSgt Natty Ngwenya-Boxing: Telford International Centre 25th March 2023

Lance Sergeant Natty Ngwenya

Born in South Africa, Sgt Natty Ngwenya moved to South East London aged 14, he enlisted in the Grenadier Guards in 2008. Sgt Ngwenya was selected for the Army Boxing Team based upon his performance as a Novice Boxer in the Grenadier Guards Inter Company Boxing Competition in 2014 and went on to compete at International Level with the Army Boxing Team as an Amateur Boxer.

Having been a five time Armed Forces Champion, a UK Novice ABA Champion, a three time GB Elite Boxing Champion as well as the Southern Area Champion. In 2015 he was voted the Army Rising Star of the Year 2015 and in 2019 he was voted the Army Sportsman of the Year. In 2022 Sgt Ngwenya was allowed to pursue a Professional Boxing Career whilst remaining a serving Grenadier and signed a contract to fight for Frank Warren. Natty will be fighting in his second professional fight on the 25th March 2023 in the Telford International Centre.
